Readers, a question for you: what are you doing Wednesday night? We’d love to see you at The Core’s after-hours holiday shopping extravaganza, called ‘Twas the Night. (Remember when we mentioned it? Jessi Cruickshank, the MTV host, will be there, as will Alberta Ballet dancers, media folk, store associates eager to give you great holiday deals and plenty of stylish shoppers.) To ensure you make it, we’re giving away a pair of tickets to the event! All you have to do is comment on this blog post. We’ll announce the winner on Wednesday, so good luck to you. And to those who don’t win, we still hope to see you there; proceeds from the $15 tickets go to the United Way of Calgary and the National Music Centre Project.
Think of all the Christmas shopping you’ll be able to get done. As for me, I’ll likely grab something cozy from Roots, something sparkly from Holt Renfrew and something stylish at Club Monaco. And then I’ll tackle buying gifts for people other than me. =)

I plan to be there! I was there last year and it was a fantastic event. I’ll be bringing some friends with me too s I can show off my Movember stache one last time at a public event. Two great causes, one stand – help the world! I see this as the beginning of a new protest for 2012… Occupy Hearts.
I would love to go this year! I got tickets last year, but ended up giving them away as I couldn’t make it. I heard it was fab and would love to be the one telling everyone else how much fun I had!
