File this under “Naughty” and/or “Pure Deliciousness.” These Homemade Oreo Cookies are decadent and easy to make. As for how they taste, they’re basically chocolate cake in cookie form with a cream cheese icing middle. I’m going to go out on a limb and say that chocolate + cake + cookies = three of the best food groups of all time. So…stop reading and go buy the ingredients already.

Homemade Oreo Cookies
- 1 Duncan Hines Devil’s Food cake mix
- 1/3 cup oil
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup margarine or butter
- 4 oz. cream cheese (1 small square package or 1/2 rectangular package)
- 1 cup icing sugar
Use a wooden spoon to mix the dry cake mix with the oil and eggs. Make little balls the size of a large marble and place on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
Mix margarine, cream cheese and icing sugar to make icing. Once cookies have cooled, spread icing on one and top with another.
Makes 12 delicious Oreo cookies.
