At a party in The Core’s Devonian Gardens last Thursday night, Avenue Magazine revealed its Top 40 Under 40 class for 2012. One by one, we met 40 of our city’s best and brightest under the age of 40. As always, the group is an inspiring bunch. I was particularly excited for the party, not to mention seeing Avenue’s November issue, because I was lucky enough to meet and write about three of the people in the group:

I loved meeting these three high-achieving Calgarians. Meeting outstanding people — and having the opportunity to share their stories — is one of my favourite things about writing.
