It’s my birthday today! We’re going to celebrate tonight over pizza with a few friends. I’m looking forward to a low-key, quiet night — so much needed after my busy week in Chicago.
And what does that have to do with glasses? Nothing really except that you, lovely readers, get a present of new glasses for my birthday. Happy dances all ’round.
ClearlyContacts.ca has kindly offered to give one of our readers TWO pairs of glasses: these retro-inspired Derek Cardigan glasses in smoke (which I’ve wanted for a long time!) and a similar pair in light pink. For the month of October for every pink frame purchased, Clearly Contacts will donate $25 to support breast cancer research. It’s so grey and dreary today that a pair of pink glasses could really liven things up.
(Guys, if you don’t want pink glasses for yourself, do still enter. Girlfriends, wives, sisters will gladly take the glasses off your hands.)
